Here's an idea I had in my head ever since it first started snowing over here. I had wanted to do just a simple fashion shoot, so to speak; but after playing with this in PS, and after Mike mentioning that I looked like a snow angel, I decided to add the wings! :floating:

I've been wanting to do a casual snowshoot for awhile, and I finally got the chance when my best friend from CA came to visit me a few weeks ago. She did my makeup and photos, I just stood freezing my ass off in the beautiful snow. It sucks though, I was being an idiot and forgot to put the memory card back in the camera, so we only got like 5 photos, 3 of them being decent. ^^;

I tried to find a close location, mainly one that was all snow so I wouldn't have to edit out any unwanted background. Believe it or not that's a snow drift behind me, and behind that snow drift is the docking station at our Wal*Mart. :giggle: So that worked out perfectly. :D

So my main inspiration behind wanting to do this actually comes from *Lillyxandra. I just love all the beautiful and exotic locations she chooses for her costumes. That, and I wanted to see just how much I suck at modeling. =p

(I also just realized that this pose and outfit looks VERY similar to the angel Gabriel from the movie "Constantine".)

Thank you so much! Hehe, I'm glad you noticed those little details, I was hoping someone would. I have to say that the snow is a plus to me, but the cold is painful. >.<
